Charlie Wilkins
Headmaster
With nearly 60 years in education, ministry, and leadership, Charlie Wilkins brings a lifetime of experience to Heartland Classical Academy. He holds degrees from Cedarville, Xavier, University of Northern Iowa, and Trinity universities. His background spans teaching, pastoral work, school founding, and curriculum development. Most recently, he served six years as a PAX Partner with Tri-County Mental Health, supporting students across three counties. Charlie has been married for 60 years and is blessed with three children, ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Justin Powell
Founder
Justin Powell is an entrepreneur and educator from rural Ohio with a passion for strengthening communities and developing future leaders. He is the Founder and CEO of Huntington Billboards, founder of Atlas Institute, and cofounder of Forge Leadership Network. Justin earned degrees from Liberty University and Harvard University.
Alysha Katterheinrich
Head Teacher
Alysha Katterheinrich holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Hillsdale College, where she completed both a classical teaching apprenticeship and a minor in Classical Education. She tutored in Hillsdale's Writing Center and is passionate about cultivating a moral imagination in students through examples of virtue woven across every subject.
Wyatt Henry
Administrative Assistant
Wyatt Henry collaborates with school leadership to establish systems and operations for the school's launch. He manages key initiatives and day-to-day execution, and is also involved in project development with Huntington Billboards, supporting business growth opportunities.
